Perth French Theatre brings together French speakers and learners of French around one shared language: theatre.
Some come to perform, some to train, some to discover what they are capable of on stage. What matters is the work: voice, body, presence, listening, and what happens when a group creates together.
We work with ambition, giving people room to learn, take risks and go further.

The work starts before the stage
Perth French Theatre training explores voice, body, breath, presence, improvisation and ensemble work.
French speakers and learners of French train together, using theatre as a way to take risks, listen differently and become more confident in French.
You can train with PFT without committing to a production.
Out Loud
When a play only needs voices
Classic and contemporary plays, read in their original language.
No staging, no production. Just a text, a few voices, and the pleasure of hearing theatre come alive.
Texts are available to follow along, making the readings accessible to learners as well as fluent speakers.
